Privacy

This policy covers the axtell.dev website and what happens when you email, call or text us. The site is run by Axtell Digital LLC, doing business as Axtell.dev, in Chico, California.
The websites we build for restaurants have their own privacy policies. If you order from one of those restaurants, the restaurant's own policy is the one that covers you.
What we collect
If you leave your email address in the box on our home page, we keep the address and the time you sent it. Nothing else about you is stored with it.
If you email us, call us or text us, we have what you send and the email address or phone number you sent it from.
There are no cookies on this site, no analytics and no advertising, and the page does not load anything from another company's servers.
Our web server does not keep a log of visits. When a request fails because of a fault on our side, the server makes a note of that request so we can fix the fault. The note has the time, the address of the page, your IP address and the details your browser sends with every request, such as its name and version. The server keeps the most recent of these notes and deletes older ones as new ones are written.
What we do with it
We use your email address to write to you about Axtell.dev's websites and online ordering. We use what you send us by email, phone or text to answer you, and if you are a client, to help with your restaurant's site.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone to advertise to you.
Who else handles it
A few companies run parts of the business for us:
- Vultr rents us the server that runs this website and holds the email list.
- Fastmail handles our email. Messages sent to support@axtell.dev are also copied into a help desk that we run on our own server.
- Quo (formerly OpenPhone) runs our business phone, (530) 999-5660. Calls and texts to that number go through Quo and are kept in our Quo account.
How long we keep it
We keep your address on the email list until you ask us to take it off. Emails and texts stay in our mailbox and our phone account until we delete them.
Seeing, changing or deleting what we have
Write to support@axtell.dev or call (530) 999-5660 if you would like to know what we have about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. If you are on the email list and would like to come off it, you can reply to any email from us and say so.
Do Not Track
Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no agreed standard for what a site should do with it, so we do not respond to it differently. We do not track you across other sites whether you send it or not.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will put the new version on this page and change the effective date.
